Final version of VistaGlazz 1.1 released today! Now Windows Vista SP1 users won't have to replace the system files manually. Just run VistaGlazz and use the third party visual styles.
Late january 2007, Microsoft released Windows Vista. Since then World of Warcraft and Crysis are no longer the sole users of your videocard. The new Aero interface relies on your GPU for a new look with customizable colors and transparency.
Unfortunatly as in Windows XP, custom styles are not supported by the system. Programs like WindowBlinds offer a workaround but degrade performance.
VistaGlazz provides a solution.
Changelog:
- Support for Windows Vista Service Pack 1
- Enhanced patching process
- Enhanced information messages and dialogs
- Removal of patch anyway functionality
- Disclaimer limited to first run
- Help file included
The official link is down right now. I have uploaded the setup file on Mediafire.
