If you are attending the 2008 Professional Developers Conference you received a pre-beta Windows 7 build today (6801) which contains many features the Windows Media Center team has been developing over the past year. Microsoft's Charlie Owen, who works on Media Center, goes through every new feature along with screenshots.

Some of the new features are:
  • On-screen keyboard
  • H.264 playback
  • Clickable TV and Video seek bar
  • New details view
  • Turbo Scroll for those with large libraries
  • Bigger video thumbnails
  • Revamped photo capabilities
  • Automatic album artwork creator

Looks better. I use Media Center all the time. I hope it'll be there with more new features in the final version.
