These screenshots are form Windows 7 M3 6801 which have been given to PDC attendees, not from "6933.winmain.081020-1842". That's why the taskbar looks same like Vista's. You can see the new different screenshots here.

Themes:
These are the three themes in Windows 7.

Aero Glass ________________ Aero Basic ____________ Windows Classic

DPI (dots-per-inch) scaling:
Windows 7 is set to make changing DPIs as intuitive and as “safe” as changing resolutions. Common issues with high DPI - clipped text, layout issues, pixelated bitmaps and incorrect font sizes have been addressed very well.

96 DPI (100%) ___________ 120 DPI (125%) ___________ 144 DPI (150%) ___________ 192 DPI (200%)

DWM cuts memory consumption
Windows 7 can take better advantage of the GPU and uses the Direct3D 10.1 API, it is able to reduce memory consumption (in the graphics system) by 50% per each window rendered.

No only, Windows 7 M3 build 6801 was distributed on PDC. Those were later internal builds (6926 or 6933
) which you saw with the new user interface.
