Wonderful work to put this together and it looks like Vista.

...but people should really just get Vista. It's an upgrade from XP and everyone will eventually be using it.

The file is not corrupt. Its working perfectly. One thing that annoys me is the File Protection... It keeps popping up.

Great work though.

Great pack but I had to reinstall my OS. Xp's File protection is rather annoying...

:D

After installing the program, I selected the 'change my system files appearance' (or similar words, top left box).

Like the last poster, I also had windows tell me (repeatedly!) that my system files were being changed and to use the XP installation CD to repair them. But I ignored the warnings and allowed Skin Pack to change the files.

Despite the Vista visuals being excellent, I decided, on reflection, to undo all the changes made. Yet there wasn't any apparant way to change the files back, nor any written guidance anywhere in sight. The only option available was to do even more customization!

So, panicking, I uninstalled the program through Add/Remove programs.

Now I'm left with Vista type file icons

So, question to Hamed: Other than using system restore or reinstalling Windows itself, is there any other way I can completely reverse the changes, as well as uninstall all traces of the program?

Thanks.

(great program, but no 'read me' or 'undo' in evidence)

True, same question. How come WFP keeps popping up?

All the enhancements are great. Yes, it is like Vista in a lot of ways, but the WFP is one bug that is rather, annoying.

My first suggestion, try to solve the WFP issue.

This is a great pack and I'm saying this honestly.

:D

Hi

Thanks for your reply!

Where is 'system file repair' located exactly?

So, is it possible to restore my system files to XP even after I have uninstalled Skin pack?

Can you please tell me exactly how to restore them?

I understand your instruction. However, even if do I keep getting the same thing.

Though I've been given problems, I'll still give this two thumbs up :D
