Why aren't there more comments on this? This is working great at my schools computers but on my Vista PC at home it doesn't even open, just crashes. I had a few questions....can I save like passwords (like at school) without it saving any of that information to the PC and import my Firefox bookmarks to this standalone exe version? I love how small this is compared to the German one.

No its not infected, its "packed" like a virus to bring the size of the exe file down. U may go in for some online scanning websites like Virustotal.

Thx alot Lord Devrexster for this. Awesome! I love all portable apps since they dont change registry and any other Windows setting! And we dont need any installer at all.I suggest there will be independent/special sub-forum for portable apps in WinMatrix in the future. I will be happy to contribute some of them. Again, very interesting!

As the speed of Google chrome has increased by much, and 1.0 version is out, so I thought to update this. Hope somebody finds this useful

AND it doesn't work for me. i double click the .exe file and then i hit run but nothing happens.

Browsing speed is better than actual chrome ( coz it uses lesser disk accesses ) . BUT - The launch of the exe takes some time. And if u are using Vista - try to run as administrator. U can also do point no.2 stated in main post..... If u r using Kaspersky then it will automatically take away some rights from the container program in which case u shud definitely try point no.2 stated in the main post. Mind u - u still get a completely portable version but in folder form. Hope I was clear.
