Might have to tell my computer-illiterate family members about this...Seems very simple to use.

Only a few minutes left...

lol, OS News pissed me off...

http://www.osnews.co...=...5&offset=60

well, you know Google, every thing is beta to them, but it is cool.

I hate to admit it, but I think that this browser is going to kick firefox's ass.

wonder if they will add it to gOS...
i can't wait though. i hope it lives up to all the hype.

well, seeing as how Chrome is OPENSOURCE, then yes, all they will have to do is download the linux sources, compile, make a package, and there you go.

In Theory, should be only 10 - 20 minutes worth of work, if the Source does not give any errors.

Ever feel like writing a note to Google?

"Dear Google,

Stop making us wait. Give us the Webbrowser.

Sincerely,
The Internet"

lol. So yall keep on mentioning a time frame here, what is your reference for this?

They made there own UI. mabey it is, mabey it isnt. Is it really that important though? I mean, this could be the Best Web Browser Ever © ™, and some people might actually shun it because they could not change the way it looks?

damn, how shallow is that? I mean, really, wtf yo?

10 AM PDT from my calculations

mind if i ask for a reference source, like a link?

just curious.

Google removes Cached pages of Chrome Download.

I'm not shunning the browser. I'm just saying that a skinnable interface would be a cool feature. I'll still use it no matter what.

However, considering that this is opensource software we're talking about, it'll be interesting to see what kinds of mods/programs come out of the code.

Only 15 min. left...

I probably wouldn't use FF if it wasn't skinnable...

Well dont get me wrong, i think it would be great, but, you know, as i tell Devrexter, get it working, before you add in the "bling", as he calls it...

make the app work great, then add in skinning.

I probably wouldn't use FF if it wasn't skinnable...

and if this is a good as i hope it is, then i will probably drop ff myself...
