Ok, back online now, The Sign Up ends today!

Ok, here is the Deal.

A few days ago i released This just as a working proof of concept demo, and a lot of people liked it.

Only problem is, is that my graphics had only progressed from abysmal to medium-novice.

So here is your chance to Design out a GUI for an app!

THE DREADED RULES...
You can submit up to 2 Designs.
Graphics Formats accepted : png, psd and xcf.
Size has to be at least no bigger than 600x400 for the main window. Currently, there is 2 windows. the Main window, and the Crediting window.
If You want to make a slash screen, that is fine, and optional.
You can design the Buttons, Title Header, Icon, anything and everything! Roll-over buttons are a good idea too...
SOME transparency is acceptable, i CAN implement SOME using VB6. DO NOT try to make a full glass window and hope that i can render it correctly in VB6, i DO have software limitations.


So what happens if you accept the challenge? Well, fist of all, you get your name in the app as the skin designer, and trust me, nothing speaks as good as having evidence of a good design as having an app to show it. Think of it as a Resume Credit that you can claim.

If Lord Devrexter agrees to this, there may be a second place accepted skin in the form of a 2nd, down loadable alternative GUI.

Please note, that if one of your Designs wins First place, then your taken out of the running for Second place. I DO have to be fair.

Ummm this was a quick mock up for the sign up so I will be making a better version for my second deign if you think the design is worth taking further.

I completed it yesterday prior to the V.2 update of Reflections demo. Till that time it was not having much buttons so I thought of oversizing the two main buttons. The buttons glow more when hovered.

WOW! So many great designs!
the voters are going to have a hard time with this one!

ok, it just occoured do me that i need to put up some kind of base discription of all of the control areas that there will probally be in the finals app, so you guys can design accordingly...

there will be a combo list box (dropdown)
4 buttons so far .. buttons can also be images, btw ( get info, save, apply and exit), mabey a button for a Global "Attach to all windows"?
minimize, close (yeah , obvious, huh?)

i think that is it so far, but any unwanted or undesired controls i can just set to be invisible...

I have already submitted my 2 creations.....but all with the old data.
Can i edit my 2nd creation taking the new data in mind ???

yes, with me finaly giving out the info on what designs will be needed in the final version, unless you want to count them as a final submission, i wil lcount them as "design concepts" and not a final submission.

it is only fair, because as i continue to develop the app, it may be necessary for more controls to be added, but as i said, i can allways hide them.
