Dell is going to include a dock in it's new laptops including XPS M1330 and 1530. The dock is actually made by Stardock and licensed to Dell. A Gizmodo's editor posted a review of this dock and called it pretty but lifeless. He actually compared it directly to OS X's dock and expected too much like bouncing of AIM icon when a new message arrives. I think this dock is pretty useful and if you don't like it then uninstall it and download RocketDock with some nice dockets. :P

What do you think?

I don't see the point of this. Why not just include ObjectDock? It's way better, and I think it's the best dock out there. And yes, I do know that Stardock makes this.

It looks pointless like Merforga said, why not just include ObjectDock?

omg A DOCK, how special and innovative!
There are plenty of docks available for windows which have practically the same functionality.

P.S. Somebody should make a skin of the DELL dock for RocketDock and others.

I like it because it's a dynamic dock, not a static folder launcher. :)

Nope, there is a machine check.

At any rate, Im not sure I'd want to use it, if reports of ~30mb ram usage are accurate.

It doesn't work on a OEM patched "DELL" lol
But it's easy to extract the resources of it - icons and stuff for RocketDock or something.

Edit: Made a rocket dock skin just for fun :P
