Hi, thanks for your kind comments. re the additional wallpapers, we'll have new 360 wallpaper available on the site in a couple of days (Wed). The plan is to have new 360 wallpaper on the site every few days, until we release the online authoring and gallery in 3-4 weeks.

In addition to the expanded desktop space (just in case it wasn't clear), using the quick widget function, you can clip part of any web page, or grab emded code of any web widget to, and make a desktop widget. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks Evan CEO-360desktop

Impact is on RAM, rather than CPU. It is designed to be as low as possible, but is a function of the number of pixels being pushed around (panorama width in pixels and the monitor size, pixels). So a 360 that has a 5:1 ratio, on a say 1680x1050, should find a 7-10% RAM overhead. A very wide 360, say 8:1, on say 1920x1200 monitor, will have a greater impact on RAM. (these numbers are approx not exact), thanks Evan

This really isn't bad. I ran it on my laptop, which is XP with 704mb of ram and a 1.40GHz processor and it ran like a dream. Bit laggy first starting up but it seemed to settle itself down.

As for memory usage (looking at ctrl+alt+delete here) it only took 35,000. Which is lower than what i get with firefox. But it shot up my explorer.exe from 40,000 to 80,000. But i'm not really worried about that. It's nice to see some original stuff out there. :)
