Good day, everyone. I am here to explain the synchronization of the weather widget. =)

Here are step by step instructions for your convenience:

1. Go to www.weather.com

2. Type in your city and state in the search bar at the top of the page in City, ST form.

3. Make sure you got the right city!

4. Look at the URL in your address bar; it should look something like this:

...weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/local/USOH0991?lswe=wad...

5. Your weather code is the 8-character string after ...businesstraveler/local/; mine is USOH0991. Highlight and copy it!

6. Stick your code in the appropriate place in the code, restart Rainmeter, and you're good to go!

I hope that helps everyone!

==============================================

Now that that's done, I have a question myself.

Is there any way to synchronize the RSS feed with Google Reader to get a comprehensive of all my feeds?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Yes, open Google Reader with Firefox, then click on the orange RSS button on the address bar, now copy the URL and use it in the widget.

I'm still not getting anything in my Reader. I've double- and triple-checked the location in the code and the link itself and I'm still not seeing any results. =/

Okey Doke folks

GMail HUD Vision Fix is available

It can be downloaded from the new Rainmeter forum here:
http://www.rainmeter...p...t=104&p=417
&hilit=google+mail#p417

The code is a little messy, but it runs clean.
Choice of white and black as needed, and you will have to follow the ini directions closely.

Mepu; if you get a hold of this, it is a cross of yours and Kaelri's work, and could use some clean up, and added to HUD Vision as the GMail config/skin

Note:
Version 2.0 has been released

I take no credit here. This is Mepu's pride and joy. I just started by helping and then splicing in other Rainmeter code.

All credit goes to Mepu for his hard work.

2.0 is now available at devart as well :D

Admittedly this is and will always be Mepu's pride and joy. I just help where I can. As mepu is flood with requests for help personal life, and only he knows what else.

I give complete credits to the authors in the skin ini's

I thank you for your support

does anyone know how to get the clock into 12hr format?
also my, I believe my weather code is my zip code (from weather.com) but it cannot find it...any suggestions?

Once you enter you area code into the main pages search engine, look into the address bar, and in the long string of search things will be your code.

There is an area to place it in th eskin ini file, and an example of what it is looking for.

Hello again folks.

Some one requested a screen shot of the HUD Vision Gmail fix that I made.
It can be found towards the upper right side, below the date and above the BlueFeed skin (RSS)

Apologies for not responding directly to that thread, but I am exhausted and short on time, as I need to get back to my latest contract
This is a whole screenshot, it is all I have time for at the moment.
More details at devart, and the Rainmeter Forum, when I get the chance
