Do you love the Apple iPhone? Why not try it on your PC?

iPhoneBT is a small program which replicates the iPhone UI on Windows. It might be useful to have a look at the UI before you buy an iPhone, or just for a bit of fun!

Here are some screenshots:

Current features in iPhoneBT 1.0:

- All widgets from main menu are fully functional (you can access their primary pages, not use them)

- A fully functional iPhone Calculator.

- A fully functional Photo Gallery

- Full Phone Interface: Contacts, Usable Keypad, Calling Screens etc.

- iPod Widget Interface: Playlist Browsing, Now Playing Screen.

:download: Download: iPhoneBT | Mirror 1 | Mirror 2

It requires Windows 7, XP or Vista and DirectX 9.

All feedback is appreciated! smile.gif

I think we would have to get permission from KaneBT before we could, at least that would be the respectful thing to do. B)

Also nice app you got here KaneBT :)

I just noticed that the images are 1mb or so

Maybe shrink the size down to something like this?

<links dead>

Sorry to be picky about it but 2mb of just images is just

Well nothing really, its just meant to be a graphical UI of the iPhone. Just a bit of fun to muck around with..
It does however, have a fully functional calculator.

I could make a version with just the calculator if youd like?

Size seems to be bigger than neccessary ... !?!?

Yeah, I thought id use really high quality images in the program, it makes it look way better.

What did you think of the program?

I like it, but I don't see the need for it. Heck, I'll just use it as a calculator. Nice work. I noticed that on the main screen it has full battery then when you open SMS it has like no battery life. I just found that funny that's all. :D

even then u can use a compressor like UPX to bring down the size . Or have u already used one ???
What environment u used to program this .

I can find these out myself ... but I am a bit busy now . Also why make them "windowed" . I mean u can use splash-panels kinda things if u actually dont provide much functionality  ???

A suggestion : Why not make it into a telephony software . A dialer that is I am suggesting . It wud be one of the coolest things ever ;) . U already have a calculator . An integrated media player is not very difficult to do ( dont go into much graphics straightaway . It wud mess up ur mind  Rather do these functionalities and then move onto graphical things ) However its still only a suggestion !!!

Hey... I like the program. It's good but for some reason the calculator is NOT fully functional. It shows the answers but you can click more letters onto it. It can't rotate like another one http://merhl.com/?page_id=75 . Get the source code from this for rotating. I like the interface but find it annoying that the transitions between certain pages don't go fast. Safari is functional in the one for the link I posted above. The battery, if you look at it... is never the same picture... it always changes whether its charging, almost dead, or fully charged. If you can try to hack it to make it so you can play atleast 3 basic songs with a backround that fits with the picture... DON'T GET ME WRONG! YOUR PROGRAM IS GREAT. Just giving you a few pointers. Also if you can try to make it so when you click clock, the drag function works like the one in the link. Thank you for not using sprites (they get irritating in an emulator). When you can actually interact with an object on the ipod desktop make sure it gives the hand cursor and if not have the unavailable cursor. I attached what I mean't about the battery. To fix that problem just use (if possible [like if a batter is black and grey then no] use a basic copy and paste BUT MAKE SURE ITS PERFECT so no one can tell the difference. Make the actual application (if its bigger) be in an installer. Also if a song is about to play don't make it half way through... like if you go into your songs the only one there is half done? Try to make the notes accesible but save in a dll if you can. It would add a more realistic feel to the emulator. Keep up the good work. Hope this helped.
