Vista Folder Background

Description
In Vista, the ability to use an image as a background for a folder in Windows Explorer is gone. This little application adds this option - now integrated into Explorer for easy access.

Requirements
Visual Studio 2005 SP1 Runtime Files

Installation
Manually run the install.bat with admin privileges.
Run uninstall.bat to uninstall and restart for the uninstallation to complete.

I like the look of this but it doesn't work for me :\ Just stays normal even if i set a background.

Same thing for me. I set the background image but it stays with just the normal blank background.

Its working for me now. I think the problem was the picture I was using for the background was mostly white on top and was rather large. When I maximized the explorer window I could see the picture. So now I'm just using a smaller picture. Not sure what the exact right size to use is. Would be nice if it would resize the picture to fit the window size.

Exactly what error message did you see?
Make sure you have Visual Studio 2005 SP1 Runtime installed and manually run the install.bat with admin privileges.

Updated, added the possibility to apply a background to all subfolders automatically.

My explorer.exe just crashes with this app, but it look great anyway.
