A Chinese website posted screenshots reported to be the early Milestone 1 build of the next client version of Windows codenamed '7'. The screenshots are almost identical to Windows Vista with minor changes such as the About Dialog displaying 'Windows 7 Ultimate' SKU, integrated XPS Viewer, PowerShell, new Control Panel layout, Gadgets integrated into the Explorer and new Control Panel layout.

Update: New Video
The same Chinese guy who brought you the first screenshots of Windows 7, brings you a video of Windows 7 Milestone 1. This is a 3 minute and 50 second shakycam video showing off the new Aurora bootscreen with animated progress bar as well as slight visual updates to Windows Media Center.

You can't expect much changes in the early builds :)

It maybe look like Vista, but as it says its Milestone 1 and they maybe havent figured out how it should look like yet, maybe just trying the new effect on taskbar and such. I would love to tryout this one. =)

And yeah, MinWin the new Kernel that will be alot smaller than the existing one, MinWin takes about 64mb or what it was and Vistas kernel takes about 200or more, im not sure exactly.

MinWin is as low as 25MB in size, and runs on RAM as low as 40MB.
You can compare it with the size of the Vista Kernel which is about 4GB, or Windows Server 2008 kernel, which is about 1.5GB in size.

Guys It's just a milestone release. Remember the new features and everything get added in the alpha release. So, keep your cool, I am sure microsoft will bring us a new taste of Windows 7 :)

There's really nothing worth noting in these screen shots/video.
