This worked for me on Win 7

\\wb9rpt.docs.live.net@SSL\DavWWWRoot\[put your cid here]\[folder name here]

In case it mattered, I had just opened my SkyDrive account in a browser and click Add Files also. I didn't upload anything, but all of a sudden this seemed to work when other things didn't.

Thanks!

two solutions, both which have their drawbacks.

first: http://clubhouse.mic...c6-d92d09d6a85a

this shows you how to map a network drive to skydrive, but in my experience, i can only drag and drop file formats from microsoft office. my third party files i still had to upload via the website. there might be a way to fix this, but i'm not sure

the second: http://www.brighthub...les/106697.aspx

this way you can drag and drop any file formats, but if you want to open any files (including ms office files) you have to buy the advanced version for 14 dollars...

sorry if this is incoherent at all, i've had a long day...

Just to let everyone thats having issues, It seems no procedure worked for me until i installed Windows Essentials... it authorizes our pc to your hotmail account. i didnt need any 3rd party application after that was able to map my drive using
" \\wb9rpt.docs.live.net@SSL\DavWWWRoot\dffb081555a5348\.Documents " format

Thanks,

Gladinet Cloud Desktop works fine in Win 7. :)

Ehmm, Install Windows Live Mesh and you will get 5Gb free, Ehmm.

The problem is that it is only 5gb not 25gb
