Microsoft seems to be preparing to release an unusual "Vista Plus Pack" on February 15th. Based on the provided box art, the Plus Pack appears to be a collection of four casual games that are "Enhanced for Windows Vista".

FEATURES:
* By integrating search throughout the operating system, helps you quickly find and organize large collections of documents, pictures, movies, videos, and music.
* Includes Windows Tablet and Touch Technology that enables you to interact with your Tablet PC-compatible computer with a digital pen or your fingertip instead of having to use a keyboard.
* Includes all of the Windows Media Center capabilities for turning your PC into an all-in-one home entertainment centre enjoy music, photos, and DVD movies.

The listing for the software was found on Future Shop's online catalog and the price is $39.99 Canadian dollars.
This is what happened to Windows Vista Ultimate Extras ;)

Too bad it doesn't include Dreamscene or Hold'em Poker. =/

Are the Media Center components included in this new?

You also paid for bitlocker
Be able to use 4 Virtual Machines in the same OS without being charge for them
You can use it both for biseness and home
You can have more memory on it if you have a 64 bit OS

-bitlocker asks for a new partion + its kinda useless if you make backups constantly (once per week for me with acronis)
-virtual machine = vmware
-like you cant use the other versions for that?
-wow home premium is sufficient for 99% of users, business is the most needed

ultimate promised us a ton of extras and weve got nothing really in return, thanks microsoft, but afaik i still thing the vista investment i made was worth it... a very good os, only i would have gotten home premium instead of ultimate

What about the ability to change your system language within a reboot rather than needing to reinstall your OS altogether?

HEH... Sounds useful, but if the rumors of it having Windows Aero are true, I'd sure as hell buy it. :D

It would be a weird (for Ultimate users, good for me) if it never mentions it, but also has dreamscene.

(Wonder when it will be available in the US <_< )

Though it may be a down side if either the rumors are false, or if it only has the games and the rest is trialware!
