There was no need for a second topic, even if yours is much better looking. Original topic beat you by over a half hour

I consider this topic as the original one. The other topic is basically pure spam since it lacks information

For those who don't have WindowBlinds, you can use TrueTransparency or FastAero for the transparent windows borders.

There's a bug with the Taskbar Toolbars, "Links" is now Windows Media Player and "Language bar" is Links. "The Language Bar" seems to be what it is still.

...as seen from the screenshot, the (right-click) menu hasn't been modified (yet) - to look like Vista's & that's a damn shame. Lots of improvement though; But, like far from perfect still :( :)

Stuff that's been there in the previous version is still there to piss you off, icon highlight color is still some ugly dark blue, the Firefox Bookmark Toolbar still becomes fat, etc.

I would never install this, after I installed VTP7 on my XP - it got slow - comparable to vista! :D
And when I decided to test on a VM - I sacrificed XP pro SP2 - and it was much slower after the install. It's much better to do vista customization manually I think...

Before installing, start System Restore %SystemRoot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe (make sure it's enabled on your system drive); Name the Restore Point whatever you want. If something goes wrong, restore from safe mode (Boot with F8).

VTP is not as bad as you all are stating. I used it a lot when I was a beginner and never had any single problem. Now I customize my OS myself instead of using any transformation pack.

I think that the best VTP ever released is Ver. 6. Still using it on my system. (:
