ThumbWin generates thumbnails of all the windows you minimize on your desktop. There are a lot of different settings that you can configure, including keyboard shortcuts, thumbnail size, and which programs should be excluded from the thumbnails. ThumbWin works with both Windows XP and Vista.

Features
  • Drag-and-drop arranging
  • Close and Restore buttons
  • Exclusion list
  • Customizable thumbnail size
  • “Bring to Front”
  • Multi-monitor support
  • Pick a shortcut, any shortcut

Flip3D Anyone?

It's been around longer than Flip 3D.

And there are a couple other similar apps that are easier on the RAM.

Of the top of my head, I'm thinking one by the same developer who did Yod'm?

doesn't look very good either. imo it's ok for xp but eats up ram. while on vista it has the extram ram but doesn't match upto vista's appearance.

maybe few versions later!

As for the RAM issue even when used as a feature on a dock I've noticed pretty substantial RAM bumps.

I'm looking for Vista Style Alt+Tab Thumb previews which would make me happy.

Also, I found the two similar app's I've tried which means I have way too much crap on my computer! :)

If you use Vista, then hover your mouse over a minimized window on the taskbar, and a thumbnail pops up.

HideOver have "minimized windows" and "Vista AltTab" features.

While I haven't tried your beta yet. According to your info the Alt+Tab functionality only applies to the Virtual Desktops not to individual app windows?

You have :
- Win + Tab for VirtualDesktop selector
- Alt + Tab for Windows selector
