do you need this if you instlled sp1 beta cause i tried to intall the update and it told me it didnt apply to my system, attached screenshot

The problem could be that you downloaded version for 64-bit OS, and you don't have it... or the other way around...

no i downloaded the x86 one and my vista is x86 i just think its because im usin sp1

This was released at the beginning of the month. My WU says I installed it on the 3rd of October......... It is safe to use. But some users did report problems with one of the packs released. Not sure if it was this one or one of the other three...


@Culprit: You probably already have it installed. Have you checked?

It didnt apply because vista SP1 already has this fix built in
