I personally use GOM. For me, it does the same as VLC but provides a cleaner interface.

I've used VLC since I can remember and its a 10/10 player for me.. but I will have to agree with you, GOM interface blows VLC's outta the water for a 11/10

I tend to use Zoom Player for avi's and stuff, and Winamp for music

Voted for MPC. I've used VLC for very long time, but MPC has much better colour correction, and oh... reminds me of good old WMP6 :D

GOM player couldn't play .mov and .rm files even after installing QuickTime Alternative and Real Alternative. I'm again back to Media Player Classic. -_-

I prefer BS Player! I don't have any problems with it. But I think I will try GOM Player, very nice GUI... :D

KMPlayer IMO is da best, plays everything, has many many features (if someone is not bored enough to check them out) and you can use it as the best Dreamscene alternative with no hassle at all :D

I use GOM Player for AVI videos and such that WMP11 cant play. But WMP 11 for DVDs and Music :P

The GOM Player has a nice sound equalizer effect (Full Bass & Treble) <3 :P

QuickTime+Perian FTW. Plays most of the stuff VLC does. I don't really do a lot of video stuff though...

I personally use crystal player. When it won't open some files i turn to VLC and SMPlayer. if these won't work either i guess MPlayer Classic is good enough.

i think most players can already play flv, gom vlc and others can.
VLC - now w/ interface, but still doesn't work most of the time
MPC - really lacks gui and thats the problem, trying to mod it but it's c++ sumthin im still learning
GOM - not much widerange but anyway widerange isn't much good but useful features! i have unsynced videos and its cool w/ gom
and nevr others excpt WMP11

:woot: How about Real Player 11 i.e it can directly download Youtube/flv videos without using any plug in n codec (i still use WMP 11 everyday though)...
