TrueTransparency is a program that adds Aero effect using .png images to PCs without Vista. (Or have Vista Basic, or have video cards that don't support Aero...).

This is the TrueTransparency thread.

Hey guys,

Just a few quick questions. How do you uninstall TT? Do you just delete the folder it's in? I found out that the new version doesn't support the skins in this thread (from older versions) and I can't find any that are supported so I've decided to uninstall it.

Also, how do you make the start menu transparent without making it look like Vista's?

THANKS!!

Does anyone know why when I use Firefox, the top thing is transparent, but when I use Internet Explorer it isn't?

I was just wondering, it seems that TT have issues with IE. Adding a bookmark to your Favourites will result in an error where IE locks up and shows an error. All this off-course goes away if you exit or disabled TT. Any word on a fix for this yet?

I don't have that problem, TT runs fine with IE (7)...

I believe that's an older version of the current one out. The current one resolves some issues, which is located here: http://www.customxp....ency-0.8.5.html

Don't mind the weird language and just click the "Télécharger" link, which is the download link.

I noticed there's a lot of page faults with this program..v0.8.5. Why is that? Other than that it's a great program.

Can anyone say how much TrueTransparency slows down xp professional?
Lots? Not Much? :D

Thanks!
