According to Net Applications, in June Windows Vista accounted for 4.52% of all systems that browsed the Web, up from January's 0.18%. Vista has grown its usage share each month since its release to consumers Jan. 30, hitting 0.93% in February, 2.04% in March, 3.02% in April and 3.74% in May. Apple Inc.'s Mac OS X, meanwhile, accounted for 6.22% in January and hit its high point of 6.46% in May, but it slipped back to 6% in June.
If Vista's uptake trend continues, it should pass Mac OS X in Web usage share by the end of August.

WOW! Nice, but how about waiting until Mac OSX Leopard comes out in October.
Of course, Vista use is going to be big because Microsoft hasn't released a Windows in 5 1/2 years. So, almost every Windows user just about has Vista now. Which I know a lot of people have switched from the release 'till now. Especially people buying any kind of PC that has Vista Home Basic on it.

Of course, Vista is bug-laden, so we'll probably have our nice group of people avoiding it. But I can't argue with your statement - it does sweep America like the plague.

Leopard could take some of the Windows users. Vista didn't impress that many people with it's launch. I don't see Mac beating out Vista in this battle, but I do see them winning a lot more users with Leopard's Launch. I've finally got my hands on the Leopard Beta and will be beta testing it soon. From what I've heard and what I've even posted on here it's f***ing incredible. Now, I can see for myself :) One more day and I'll be testing it!

You know Vista is no were even close to what Microsoft wants. And if you ever ran OSX you would be so impressed its so ahead of Vista. OSX will never pass Microsoft but it wont be going anywhere soon. I have OSX on my pc and I am there most the time. As for all these SELLS? Lmao most people are staying with XP and thats whats pissing off Microsoft.
