Except no one can get Longhorn Reloaded anymore... Which sucks because I wanted to get it and now there's that good ol' Cease and Desist order. I'd even settle for the Visual Style if I couldn't get the real thing.

Actually, the Windows VII/Vienna images are broken... As are the site's... Anyone know a way to see it? I'd like to see what's coming ahead.

Are these real?

Interesting concept, but I agree, thats quite an ugly VS.

look at the first screens of vista (or longhorn, as it was known a long time;-))
they looked like xp and this is so far from done!

Well, it looks like that images have loaded... I'm more or less dissatisfied. I think they blatantly plagiarized Apple there, as well as having tried to base everything on their Sidebar, a concept of which I doubt will work all too well.

Regardless, in relevance to this topic, the design doesn't match my tastes at all either... Now I really want Longhorn Reloaded.

The interface is good but it doesn't look better than Vista Aero GUI.

I think the interface is good but the one thing hurting it a lot is that transparency. It gets very distracting.

Also it's just a concept so it could posisbly never see a store shelf ever but I like some of the things going on.

I have a copy of it and still testing it out. I have it running on VPC 2007 and I'm really trying to get it to boot up on another partition. I got the graphics kicking in on the partition, but still having problems getting it to load normally without safe mode.

Longhorn definitely has more potential than Vista. If you want it, I'll upload it on a server. I can careless about Microsoft. I bought two versions of Vista. So, they can kiss my @$$!

OK. I'm gonna find a uploading service to do it on. REMEMBER!!! YOU ARE TRYING THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
You can't blame ME, MICROSOFT OR JOEJOE for anything that happens.

I would recommend install it on a Virtual Machine. Maybe VMWare, because VPC 2007 didn't do so great with me and the regular partition boot usually doesn't work.

I'll post the link as soon as I upload it.

Actually, I could get it if I had a capable computer. It's on a warez site still, but I'm not allowed to post warez links.

*is holding up VMWare Workstation 6*

Honestly... I dislike vertical. I'm too used to wider screen.
