FastAero is a new free program for applying the Aero Glass with blur effects on Windows XP.

* Very smart blur algorithm with low cpu load.
* Works without any other tools , such as WindowBlinds , StyleXP…
* You don’t need to install any thing or unstall anything. So do the program.

Because ClearType font smoothing is not enabled.

FastAero is really low on system resources and it works great. (Y)

No it doesn't work great! it looks like s**t when you apply the "Glass with blur" option, the shadow around the window f***s up, if you happen to use a dock and the window overlaps the dock, the shadow's still using the background color instead of being properly transcluent, so it doesn't look good at all.

BEST STUFF EVER for what it does and because it's made by Polish people like me!

Sadly, I never use XP anymore because IMO it's the worst Windows ever. (Mac, Vista and Server 2008 FTW!)

w00t! source code! time to improve upon it!
just have to import it in to c#...

wow it is a LOT faster than the original....
If your like me and can not real polish, open up the .ini and change the language line to your native language

example...

;FastAero 1.2
[fastaero]
language=english
lighting_num=0;
$titlebar_font_name=Segoe UI;
$titlebar_font_size=9;
blur_enabled=0

See, i changed mine to English, now all of the text is in english. :D

new version is buggy like HELL !! I start it, and open an explorer window to see the effect - the "effect" is cool - the explorer window starts diminishing in size :D I open task-manager, find RAM-usage of Fastaero.exe is 31 MB , cool !!

Its worse than where its original developer left it !! :angry:
