TrueTransparency is a freeware that changes the windows border adding png support and so true transparency.

ya, FastAero is pretty ugly... the buttons are way too big. I like this True transparency though. There's a few bugs, mainly with resizing windows. And when you hover over the minimize button the bottom left corner of the button turns blue... i'm working on fixing that though.. i'll post the replacement pic when i'm through.
EDIT: these should work. just put these into the Active and Inactive folders in the Aero Skin folder. It looks a little cleaner now.

My quick review of all three:
VystalVivid: Good blur but high resource use, ignores other windows (the titlebar always shows as if it were over an empty desktop). Lots of cool features, needs work.
FastAero: Oh god! My eyes!!! I hope I can fix this with the GIMP...
True transparency: Quick to apply, low resource, simple. The only theme-able one, so not just for you XP-to-Vista freaks. But when you drag a window, the contents bounce around the frame (Mind you, this is a Vista Aero-enabled machine, not an old piece of crud). So far, my favorite.

It's Vista home basic, not XP, so that part of explorer is part of the titlebar.
