What is Nvidia?
And I'm going to get Ubuntu in the next few weeks, and I'm wondering if you have to have a Nvidia drive or whatever it is to run Beryl?
If so, how much do they usually go for?

Nvidia is a company that make video cards for computers. To run beryl you only have to find if your video card is compatible.

What are the system requirements for Beryl?
Beryl runs acceptably well on a GeForce 3/i855/Radeon 7500, 256MB of RAM, and a 1.2GHz processor. It also works best with Xorg 7.1 and requires a recent version of Mesa.

Lmao, I went to your link, and found that. I'm not even sure what most of that is!
Help? :P

what they said is that with those video cards and 256 of memory in your computer plus a 1.2 gigahertz chip beryl work great. mine has a radeon 9250 and beryl work good in it. here in this site http://www.phoronix....i...m=730&num=1 he test beryl with diference video cards and tell waht he found. but dont worry install ubuntu and beryl and then check if you need to upgrade your video card.

Hmm, well according to my dxdiag thing, my video card is a Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller.
Do you think it would work with that?
