I think it would be really great if I could actually find some dreamscenes in actual video format. Anyone have a good link? For example, the Blue Plasma Dream.

Ok ive managed to do it now but when i right click the desktop the dreamscene option is disabled :S

Make sure the Aero theme is enabled, coz Dreamscene requires Aero to be enabled.

Its my standard theme

I think you can rename .dream file to .zip and extract the video from it.

ok, i got it properly instaled on my vista business... but when i tried applying the videos.. they appear in a pinkish tint and remains static.. see the screemshot below"




to double check my codecs.. i tried playing the wmv files seperately and everything else appears right?!

what's wrong?

all we need to do now is crack deskscapes so we can use that too

It appears I was wrong, unlike in Ultimate, this DreamScene is a resource hog!
And Deskscapes won't install either I bet someone could patch that eventually though...

DeskScapes is meant for Vista Ultimate. Patching it would be considered warez.

I have the same problem but i made sure that aero theme was enabled and dreamscene content wont pop up in desktop backround i put the dreamscene folder in windows/web and when i right click it, it does say play windows dreamscene but icant somebody please help

i had a problem too not the same just restore ya computer and do it all over again

i have home premuim 64x and it just wont work it keeps going to customize wont load any ideas ?
