You can't use Vista with 256MB of RAM.

What about satellite A20 series?
1GB ram, 2.8 ghz P4
Any chance....?
Well, I upgrade my A20 to Vista with that configuration, and until now it runs fine except for two major problems:
1) All videos play extremelly slow, and Media Center is unusable (due to the poor video card or the lack of driver for Vista)
2) It takes several minutes to shutdown or to enter sleep mode (sometimes it freezes).
If you want to try it out, I strongly recommend installing it on a second partition.
