I prefer nVidia because of the superior drivers and they have always released great drivers years after producing a card.

I like ATI better. They might not be as high-end as Nvidia, but they're affordable and perfect for the average joe user.

nVidia is more user-friendly for installation.

Installing ATI cards can get frustrating. They just don't seem to want to work on the first try.

nVidia also supports overclocking with the coolbits registry hack.

I love ATI, but stupid Linux doesn't support it as well as NVidia.

ATi definitely wins in IQ ... and keeping the current Nvidia form .. ATi will surely get a good hold in the market now ... take this from an nvidia user ..

Nvidia is always one step ahead of ATI. Whether it was about shader model 3 or it is about shader model 4, DirectX 10 or the most powerful GPU (GeForce 8800 Ultra).

Whilst I think ATI's X1950XT was one of the best GPU's ever,........... at the time of this poll, one would have to say Nvidia.
Sooner or later we're gonna have to factor in HD performance as well, and I think that's an unknown atm.

its always been a race of the fastest...

currently ati is the fastest on the market, with the 2000 series... and they are almost doubling the speed of the 8800 nvidia series. but same can be said for the price.

i am going to side with nvidia. just for the fact that they have open source drivers and are not a pain to install on linux =P
