My windows photo gallery is messed up. Whenever I open up any kind of picture there is a brown tint over all my pictures that makes it look very dark. how do I get rid of this? Ive reformatted with a clean install and nothing. Anyone got any ideas?

The brown is all over, if the pic doesnt cover all of the display area, that part that is normally white has a brown color to it too

Thanks in Advance
Quash

I had a problem just like this and i found out how to solve it. Try this:

-Rick Click desktop > Personalize.
-Display Settings > Advanced Settings...
-Color Management tab > Color Management
-Advanced tab > Change System Defaults...
-All Profiles tab: Scroll down to the ICC Profiles section and find your monitor. Just remove it from the list, and see if that fixes the problem. That is what worked for me!

no dice here, thanks for the tip tho, perhaps it will help someone else. Interesting feature that color management, perhaps if I messed with the profile some...
