For me, I wish I could really switch to vista, but I'm sticking to dual boot right now. I LOVE vista for work and design stuff, but the fact that it doesn't run a lot of my games makes it a turn off. That, and I have to pop in my 5-year old Yamaha sound card whenever I use it (there are no ADI vista drivers for asus mobos yet), and that card sounds like crap. As far as RAM usage goes, I'm on 1.5GB (soon to be 2) and I run Aero, dreamscene, everything just fine - that's on an ATI X800 AGP video rig.

Quite personally, I won't be fully with Vista until Soundmax gets new drivers out, at the very least. I think it's ridiculous my 1-2 year old mobo doesn't have onboard audio support on vista.

I just received an update that speed up my performance with the Aero (Non-Glass). My Aero with transparency is still a bit slow but I can use Plain Aero for a bit. Also, my computer isn't slowing down anymore with Vista :)

Now, If I can get this Creative Studio 3 to work I'll be all good for Vista.

The real test is when I have alot of windows open.
