Uh ... lol I've been there and downloaded those "HD" videos. I guess my computer doesn't support them or something, because when ever I try opening the video, the computer restarts ... What I'm looking for are just plain old wmv/mpg/whatever videos in a 1024x768 resolution.

Ok, I followed all of the directions but still there is no option for wallpaper when I right click on the video. I have triple checked all settings and I did do them right, enable wallpaper is checked, but it still is not working. I even downloaded bsplayer, but couldn't figure it out there either. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

it wont work if you have "show desktop icons" unchecked
I've unchecked show desktop icons on my desktop, when I right click on desktop, under view, right??? It still didn't make a difference, i tried both ways and reset the vln player after each...its still not working.....what am i missing???

I am having the same problem now. I want to use a DVD as wallpaper in Vista Home Premium. Any ideas?
