Hi all, at the end of the month, when W. Vista will be released, i'll buy the Home Basic Edition (the others are too expensive for me).
But i reeeeealy would like to have the aero interface system. Can i enable it whit a registry trick or something else?

Thanks for answers!

Aero and Flip 3D won't be in Vista Starter and Home Basic editions but I don't think that it would be impossible.

mmm...i've asked that question because as you know vista will be shipped on a single dvd whit all the version in it...so the aero system must be in the dvd...or maybe i'm just an idiot XD

You have to wait for the release to know this because nobody is using Home Basic Edition right now.

Basically, Home Basic is XP's Home Edition, Home Premium is XP's MCE, Business is XP Pro, Enterprise is Pro x64 and ultimate's new.

Dude you've just convinced me to buy Home Basic :)

I want to see screen shot's of it before I try that. I don't want anything going wrong with my new Windows.

HAHAHA! Thanks FATSAC! It worked in Home Basic :)
Official Tweak Vista

See Winmatrixians, Vista Home Basic is the best choice. Unless you need Vista Business on something along those lines. $99.95 (this includes everything) is all it takes and you get everything. So, why pirate? Buy It :)
