Zoronax and Rafael released their Preview Build of VAIOXP/2003 recently.

So what can you basically do with it ?

You can run Windows Vista - based applications on the above mentioned operating systems. (for instance, Windows Paint, Windows Sidebar etc.)

Now, we're able to run recent Windows Vista Sidebar Builds on XP.

How can I do it ?

Check the tutorial that was posted here.

You need to reboot before you can see those options.
Furthermore you can do that as well: C:\VAIO\Tools\regtlib.exe C:\program files\windows sidebar\sidebar.exe

You need to extract the archive... :)
Either Preview Build 1 XP or Preview Build 1 2003.
Then copy its content to a folder you named VAIO (C:\VAIO)....

I cant see the "patch vista..." option. rebooted, click on reglib file thingy in "tools" folder and reboot again. I'm running windowblinds on windows xp. Is this gonna be a problem?

yawn...Till' vista goes to the stores, i'm not going to get it.

This is troublesome. You need to go take the sidebar from vista? dotz. Besides the time, HD, and RAM monitor thing, the sidebar is useless.
