is it possible to do this without hiding the desktop icons?

Anyone? :(

ANYONE???

ANYONE ?????????

but wait, i get this cool look without my desktop icons? i need my icons! isn't there a way to have the whole cake and fixings too?

Put your icons in a sidebar folder , in otherwords create a folder called Desktop icons on your desktop and put all your icons in it , now drag the folder to the edge of the screen to create a sidebar, set it to autohide , now run screensaver as background . hope this helps

Ok this is a great application but can anyone tell me how to add new screen savers to it? I just downloaded and installed a new screen saver and I can see it in the regular screen saver menu but it doesnt show up in the animated desktop menu.

Put a copy of the screensaver (.scr)into your C:\windows\system32 folder. P.S- Not all will work but they will show up in the menu.

Worked perfectly. I spent the better part of 2 hours trying to learn the command prompt steps to do what this did instantly. Well atleast now I know.
