A really cool idea, but if you could work on the "no desktop icons" glitch, it would be even cooler.....I gotta have my icons. Please....this is no flame intended at you....your program works better than most other animated desktop programs I've tried. At least it's more stable. Others out there were pretty cheap and would work only half the time.

This method uses less system resources than Windows DreamScene. :P

It can be done using Dream Manager. See this post.

While I'm not "officially" supporting this feature in Dream Manager, I do use it and so I will try and keep it working in case Stardock changes something in DeskScapes to break it. No guarantees ;)

Here is a video showing screen savers running as my wallpaper. I'm using the demo versions of AquaReal in this video and they run great.

Again, this is not an official part of Dream Manager and I won't "officially" support it.

If anyone is interested in trying this PM me for instructions on enabling the feature in Dream Manager. It also works in the trial version of Dream Manager so you can try without purchasing it.

Ok here goes ..

My problem is that without the screensaver running as BG CPU usage 23% .. With it running 100% ... I am using Matrix3D scrennsaver by useless creations ... If it's coz of it what non resource eater screensavers do you recommend ?

I get 0% from ribbons and mystify. AquaReal1 however uses 15% uses 20%. The real amazing thing is that I get from 0% to 4% from AquaReal2. And that looks AMAZING with just the demo version of the screen saver! It goes to show you that it's the coding technique that makes programed wallpaper usable.

Yea, that's an old processor in a computers lifetime.

My problem is that without the screensaver running as BG CPU usage 23%

Are you saying your CPU is 23% used when your computer is idle? Sounds like it's time to upgrade.
