AeroWorks is a new app by Villain. The free edition of AeroWorks allows you to Skin/Texturize the Taskbar. This app works only under Vista and Windows 7. Sorry, XP users. you can still download and use Texturized Taskbar but it wont be updated or supported.

The newly introduced jumplists in Windows 7, which appear when you right-click on an icon in the superbar (taskbar), help improving the workflow a lot, but if you want combine multiple programs in one icon, you're screwed. The 'Jumplist-Launcher' comes to rescue! It lets you add up to 60 programs or files within self-defined groups inside a jumplist.

In October 2009 Microsoft announced a collaboration with FOX One, for creating a Windows 7 special titled Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alexs Almost Live Comedy Show, which was the working title at the time, and was supposed to air on November 8th.
Later Microsoft pulled support for the episode but today Microsoft posted clips from the sponsored show on to its official YouTube channel.

Microsoft is offering a variety of free Themes and Wallpapers for Windows 7 on the Personalization Gallery hosted on Microsoft.com. The items offered as free downloads to end users have already been refreshed when Windows 7 hit general availability, more than a month ago, on October 22nd, 2009. However, it looks like the software giant will continue to be expanding content and an illustrative example in this regard is Twinkle Wish.

Windows users running 64-bit versions of the operating system are less likely to get infected by attack code, Microsofts security team said yesterday. But that doesnt mean they wont, countered an outside security researcher. 64-bit Windows has some of the lowest reported malware infection rates in the first half of 2009, said Joe Faulhaber of the Microsoft Malware Protection Center in a post to the groups blog yesterday. 64-bit malware is still exceedingly rare in the wild.
