DExposE2 is an Expose (Mac OSX task switcher) clone for Windows that has more features than any current one. A portable version has been just released that has various new optimizations and some minor bug-fixes. So people wary of installing can now try a portable thing.

Microsoft has released the much awaited XP SP3 RTM on Automatic Update and Download Center today. The SP3 RTM was delayed due to a bug in Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS). Although its available on Automatic Updates, ppl who want to download the standalone package can use following official links to download SP3.

I build a new Windows XP ISO with SP3 integrated, this is a Volume License editions (VOL) which only accepts Volume License Keys (VLK). When I want to install it on a clean machine, I noticed that setup prompts for a product key and it does not allow me to continue, which should be a new feature in XP sp3. I found out that the problem is when you do the XP Sp3 slipstream process on a WIndows Vista machine, the API gives a different response and screws up the PID process.

A free app to provide you with some animations for your windows without bogging your system down. Typically it should take about 5MB of memory and 2-3% CPU to finish its job. Right-click on the systray icon to bring up a menu and choose "Preferences". There are many things to choose from. So get the animations you want for your windows and Enjoy!

Microsoft Corp. today announced that it has withdrawn its proposal to acquire Yahoo! Inc. “We continue to believe that our proposed acquisition made sense for Microsoft, Yahoo! and the market as a whole. Our goal in pursuing a combination with Yahoo! was to provide greater choice and innovation in the marketplace and create real value for our respective stockholders and employees,” said Steve Ballmer, chief executive officer of Microsoft.
