New Apps of Windows 8.1 in Action
The preview Windows Store has been opened in all the leaked Windows 8.1 builds. There are updates for most of the built-in apps, and the entire store has been redesigned. Windows 8.1 final build to be released in August?
Microsoft will release Windows 8.1 Preview version at the BUILD developer conference (June 26 - 28, 2013) but the company hasn't announced when the final version of Windows 8.1 will be released. PC management service Soluto looked at the activities on 10,848 Windows 8 machines and discovered that about 60% of them don't even open one Windows 8 app per day. Google offers 15 GB of free cloud storage!
Google account users will now receive a combined storage of 15 GB for Gmail, Google+ Photos and Google Drive services. Previously, Google offered 10 GB for Gmail and 5 GB for Google+ Photos and Google Drive combined. This offering somewhat exceeds the 7 GB of free storage that Microsoft provides to SkyDrive users. OneNote app for Windows 8 supports finger drawing
