Microsoft has improved multiple monitor support in Windows 8 Release Preview version. The improvements includes taskbar options for multiple displays, desktop wallpaper spanning and even the ability to show a different desktop background on each individual monitor. Microsoft is tweaking the Release Preview to let users launch the Metro Start Screen on any monitor. You will also be able to bring up the charms bar, launch and move Metro style apps, and switch back to an app from any monitor.

Microsoft has invested in Pirate Pay, a Russian company that has developed a technology which allows them to attack existing BitTorrent swarms, making it impossible for people to share files.
The idea started three years ago when the developers were building a traffic management solution for Internet providers. The technology worked well. It was able to stop BitTorrent traffic if needed, which made the developers realize that they might have built the holy anti-piracy grail.
